Gone Under

"Gone Under" by Shayna Steele is a modern gospel that features a powerful voice. It can be found on her album "Rise" and on Snarky Puppy's "Family Dinner Vol. 1", on which she also sang it. Much of this song explains itself after listening to these two versions.

The notation of the vocal part is closely following the first verse of these recordings. From the second verse on and in the other parts of the song it should be sung more freely. Don't hesitate to experiment in the Bb minor scale at the "freak out" part in the end! Otherwise I can only refer to the original recordings again, you can get a lot by listening to them.
